Congressman Mark Walker (NC-06) Visits 3DFS Facilities

On Wednesday, September 19, 2018, Congressman Mark Walker (NC-06) visited the 3DFS facilities in Pittsboro, NC as a guest of Conservatives for Clean Energy, as a part of National Clean Energy Week to meet the 3DFS team, learn more about Task Oriented Optimal Computing and hold a conversation about how 3DFS’ critical advancement of error free data acquisition relates to energy security and to energy efficiency. The conversation focused on the direct benefit to North Carolina’s economy today and well into the future.

Congressman Walker received live demonstrations of the VectorQ2 Power Controller, Water Well Pump Controller, Sewage Pump Controller and Solid State Digital Liquid Level and put asked very insightful questions around the economic development vision for Central North Carolina regarding advanced applications of the technology.

From there, the conversation touched on cyber and physical security of the control systems that run the nation’s infrastructure and how harnessing the advancements in electricity control delivered with Software-Defined Electricity can dramatically improve this security through Real-Time detection and reaction to events.

We are always grateful when our elected Representatives take time out of their busy schedule to see what 3DFS is doing to keep the Triangle on the cutting edge of technology.

Thank you Representative Mark Walker and all of the aides and staffers that made this visit possible.
