Power quality tools report what happened. PQRA reports what it costs, what it risks and what to fix first, from the waveforms a facility actually recorded.

What comes back
- Scored risk by recording. Each recording is graded against measurable power quality behavior, so a team can rank its locations by operational risk.
- An economic impact layer. Electrical findings become ranges of downtime and restart cost that finance, operations and reliability teams can use.
- Evidence traceability. Each conclusion links to the source measurements and the report sections behind it, so reviews, audits and remediation plans stay defensible.
- Equipment risk. Transformers, drives and critical loads are assessed one by one for remaining service life and failure probability under present conditions.
- Reports ready for action. The output is structured for engineers, facility leaders and outside reviewers, with clear next actions and evidence a reader can follow.
How it works
There is no dashboard to build and there are no thresholds to configure. The recordings go in and a scored report comes back.
Upload the recordings. PQRA reads recordings from any power quality instrument in their native formats, with no file conversion and no middleware. PQRA accepts MF4, PQDIF, COMTRADE, CSV, TDMS and HDF5.
PQRA scores them. PQRA maps each recording against indexed standards. Then it computes risk grades, financial exposure and equipment impact.
Review and act. An interactive dashboard shows the scored risk, the cost of the impact, the equipment assessments and recommendations backed by evidence, ready for the team.
Who it is for
Electrical engineering teams. Findings backed by source data to diagnose conditions, document risk and define the scope of remediation.
Reliability and maintenance leaders. Interventions ranked by asset impact and downtime exposure instead of by alarm volume.
Plant and facility management. Technical quality issues translated into operational and budget terms for planning cycles.
Energy and compliance functions. Clear evidence chains and reporting quality for internal review and outside requests.
PQRA and the PQR Simulator
The PQR Simulator runs in the browser on figures a visitor sets or a preset supplies, and it labels itself an educational simulation. PQRA reads the recordings an instrument actually wrote.
Getting access
Access to PQRA begins with a request through Join the Waitlist on pqra.3dfs.com.
Opens pqra.3dfs.com in a new tab. Access to PQRA starts on a waitlist, so this asks for access rather than opening an account.
