A render of the Calibri EX card.
Calibri EX
4 GS/s, 16-bit data acquisition for research and production
Calibri EX converts analog signals to digital data, stores the data, and runs real-time signal processing such as filtering and noise reduction.
What Calibri EX does
Capture and playback
Calibri EX converts analog signals to digital data and stores the data in digital format. It also plays digital data back as analog signals.
Real-time processing
The card runs digital signal processing in real time. It handles correlation, search, filtering and noise reduction.
FPGA and DDR4 memory
FPGA logic does the processing. DDR4 memory holds the data for fast input and output, and a PCI Express link carries it to the host.
Options
Options add 32 digital I/O lines and support for an RGB LCD screen with capacitive touch. The OEM version runs as a standalone unit on a single 12 V supply.
We built Calibri EX in February 2016 to advance our research in power electronics and power quality. The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill used it in neuroscience and physics research.
