Deloitte & Touche Stuns DistribuTECH 2019 Attendees with Software-Defined Electricity
3DFS became a Deloitte subcontractor in early 2019 and had the opportunity to remotely exhibit a live installation of Software-Defined Electricity at DistribuTECH 2019 in New Orleans. The exhibit allowed conference attendees to see the difference between electricity in a small manufacturing facility when it is off grid and uncontrolled compared to when it is synchronized and balanced in Real-Time as it flows.
The results were head turning, with attendees marveling at the possibilities that the technology brings. There was a robust excitement around this greenfield business opportunity and several connections were made as the conversations focused on improving the stability, visibility and security of grids and power networks, particularly in light of the PG&E bankruptcy related to lack of control of power.
We are very grateful for this opportunity to show the world our technology at such a well known event in front of industry experts and thought leaders. Thank you Deloitte & Touche for an incredible platform and all of the support from the team. We especially want to thank Kyle Webb for his never ending positivity and professionalism in driving this forward.
This is the second year that 3DFS has attended DistribuTECH and we are already looking forward to next year!
