Subcycle Correction and 3DFS Technology Target Market

The Advantages of Subcycle Correction & 3DFS Technologies is Clear: 3DFS’ patented subcycle correction technology brings stability and reliability to commercial electrical networks. It also provides security and extensive data and analytics, including the real time identification and tracking of any individual load’s power consumption within an electrical network.

Subcycle correction rebuilds the Current and Voltage waveforms in real time, giving the electrical network the flexibility to process electrical events and distortions at the microsecond level, maintaining the waveforms close to their ideal sinusoidal shape. This maximizes the electrical efficiency of the network, increases the power density, and reduces the amount of wasted power typically noticed as heat in the electrical infrastructure.

Installing a 3DFS system will protect all loads in the network from the effects of electrical distortions, including unnecessary heat, which will save money in the short term on power expenses and in the long term with a reduction in repair and maintenance costs and reduce downtime.

The real time individual load monitoring and predictive performance analytics of the electrical network are initiated upon installation and logged over time. This provides enormous advantages with the ability for precision capacity planning, energy forecasting, and downtime or maintenance scheduling.

Target Market

Subcycle correction of electricity is clearly an advantage for any electrical network and is only available with 3DFS products beginning with our flagship product, the VectorQ2 power controller, designed for 3 phase 208/240V electrical networks.

We expect that this technology will one day be required for all electrical networks as the benefits are clear and sustainable, however at this point we are an emerging technology so our initial target markets are businesses that can realize the benefits of the VectorQ2 product instantly. We refer to this as a “One Minute Payback,” because the VectorQ2 provides protection from the unknowable future electrical events that would otherwise impact operations or require additional actions.

We have identified Mission Critical operations as our ideal target market. Operations such as data centers, precision manufacturing, and hospitals have the clearest need for subcycle correction, as their networks are filled with a large number of power sensitive loads that require protection and maximum electrical efficiency. These markets are energy intensive and will experience enormous cost savings and dramatic operational improvements upon installation of the VectorQ2 system.

Target Market Value Propositions

Data centers experience an increase in uptime and power density consumed by loads, maximum electrical efficiency for the entire network, cost savings on power and infrastructure, and predictive performance analytics for precision capacity planning and energy forecasting.

Precision manufacturing operations experience cost savings on power and infrastructure, protection of loads, and real time load monitoring and predictive performance analytics for cost effective, streamlined operations and accurate capacity planning.

Hospitals and research facilities experience an increase in uptime, protection of loads, cost savings on power expenditures and infrastructure, and individual load monitoring and predictive performance analytics for precision capacity planning, energy forecasting, and load maintenance scheduling.
